L.E.A.R.N. Foundation Celebrates Annual Back-to-School Giving Giveaway 2026 and Fundraiser

On Friday, June 26, the L.E.A.R.N. Foundation hosted its annual Back-to-School Giveaway 2026 event and fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese, bringing families, community partners, guests, and supporters together for a meaningful day of giving, preparation, and fun. More than 165 students from Pre-K through 12th grade received bookbags filled with essential school supplies to help them begin the new school year ready to learn. Thanks to donated funds, the organization was also able to purchase additional items for each student, allowing families to select a lunch box and water bottle in addition to their packed school supply bags.
L.E.A.R.N. Foundation staff carefully packed each bag with the needs of students and families in mind. In addition to traditional school supplies, the bags included hygiene essentials such as feminine hygiene products, soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, helping ensure students had access to important everyday necessities. The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation is especially grateful for its partnership with Chuck E. Cheese. Registered families were able to pick up their bags while enjoying free games and discounted food, creating an uplifting and family-friendly experience. Other organizations and guests also participated in the event and contributed to the foundation’s ongoing work in the community.
This annual giveaway was made possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, partners, and community members who believe in equipping students with the tools they need to succeed. Every contribution helped make a direct impact on local families, and the L.E.A.R.N. Foundation extends sincere thanks to everyone who supported, donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word.

Looking Ahead: Holiday Giving 2026
The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation is already looking forward to its next annual event, Holiday Giving 2026. To continue supporting families during the holiday season, the organization is seeking new or gently used toys, nonperishable food items, and hygiene supplies. Needed items include nonperishable foods such as stuffing, canned green beans, and ramen noodles, as well as hygiene supplies such as lotion, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and feminine hygiene products.

The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation Community Resource Center is located at 168 N. Johnston St., Suite 301, Dallas, GA 30132, across from the Regions Bank parking lot near downtown Dallas. Current hours of operation are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
