Meet the L.E.A.R.N.
Foundation
Who We Are
The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation was created from the idea that people deserve to have access to the tools they need for success.

Our central mission here at the L.E.A.R.N. Foundation is to provide innovative and structured community outreach programs and activities to enhance individuals and families. We aim to network and build rural alliances and community partnerships with local agencies to make a positive difference in the quality of life for all, including seniors, children, families, and veterans in our community.

We provide integral support to both exceptional students and vulnerable populations, and our work is a reflection of the love we have for our community and our commitment to Liberty & Justice For All. This is the number one priority.
For every decision that has to be made, we ask ourselves, “what is best for the people?” With people as our focus, we strive to provide services to set the tone that support learning for the community. We persistently encourage and guide with the purpose of developing and demonstrating knowledge and skills to educate our current generation. With people coming to us with various learning styles and individual needs, our approach to teaching and learning seek to support and reflect a variety of ways to meet students where they are. The goal is to implement current and progressive methods and ideas in education. In order for a person to truly gain a valuable learning experience, they need a strong foundation that integrates instruction, exploration and discovery.

Our team of professionals have a wealth of experience that specializes in some family support, workforce development, family strengthening, homeless prevention, tax preparation assistance, and personal development through education and fitness awareness, leadership, mentoring, and athletics.

The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation is not just changing lives by providing services to varied age groups in our community, but prides itself in hiring a diverse group of people from a variety of backgrounds, including first time workers, teens, college students, and retirees.
Staff Contributions
The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation's staff members come from a wide array of educational and professional backgrounds, ensuring that students have diversified resources who have first-hand experience that is crucial. The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation was founded in 2014 by Dr. Dalton J. Lemelle Jr., an award-winning, retired, 20-year Air Force enlisted Veteran and Ed.D Candidate who offers years of professional service in the academic, athletic, education, and leadership arena.
Dalton's life's work has centered around creating a winning culture by assisting limited income, first generation, traditional, and non-traditional students with attaining high school diplomas and college degrees by changing the culture of surrounding communities, thus creating educational awareness. He has authored multiple resources for minorities pursuing education, been awarded multiple million dollar grants from the US Department of Education, and helped countless students in his career.
