Dallas, GA -- The Holiday Giving 2025 celebration—hosted annually by The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation Inc.—brought together hundreds of families for a meaningful day of generosity, community, and festive cheer. Guided by its mission “to provide innovative and structured community outreach programs and activities to enhance individuals and families. We aim to network and build rural alliances and community partnerships with local agencies to make a positive difference in the quality of life for diverse populations, seniors, children, families, veterans, and disabled.” The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation offered essential resources, joyful experiences, and a strong sense of connection to families throughout the region.

This year’s event welcomed 483 individuals, creating a vibrant and supportive atmosphere for families in need during the holiday season. A total of 120 families received toys, with 418 children taking home gifts that brightened their holidays. The Foundation also distributed 13 donated bicycles, delivering unforgettable surprises to children in attendance. Additionally, 91 food bags were provided for holiday meals, and families received a wide range of winter essentials—including blankets, coats, sweaters, shoes, hygiene items, and household necessities—to help them stay warm and supported through the winter months.

The celebration featured a lively and colorful Kids Activity Center, where children enjoyed painting, coloring, prizes, treats, and festive face painting provided by the dedicated Hiram High School Beta Club. The activity center quickly became a central highlight for families, offering creative fun and lasting memories. Families were also treated to a delicious nacho bar prepared by Party On a Dime Catering, while DJ Leon Graham provided upbeat music that kept the atmosphere lively and encouraged children to dance and celebrate.Dr. Lemelle—CEO, founder, retired enlisted Air Force veteran, and owner of DJ’s Family Kitchen—brought holiday magic as Santa in the Santa photo booth, with photos available at the link provided. With the help of 20 volunteers, 12 Beta Club members, and generous donors wo worked tirelessly behind the scenes, the event was a heartwarming success, and more can be seen in the video below.
Volunteer and Veteran Tyrone Baremore stated, “It was incredible to see the smiles on the kids’ faces. Knowing that we could help families feel supported and celebrated this holiday season made every moment worth it.” Christine Smith, the event coordinator, added, “This event grows every year. Seeing the community come together to uplift one another is exactly why we do this. We’re already excited about how we can make next year even better.” Many families expressed their gratitude as well, including one mother, Preslie, who shared, “Thank you so much for the experience. It was an amazing event!”
