Get Ready for Success! Join Us for Prep for Success: Back to School Giving - A Week of Empowerment and Support for Local Families

Dallas, GA — The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation is thrilled to announce our upcoming “Prep for Success: Back to School Giving,” a dynamic week-long event designed to equip families and college students with the essential resources they need for the upcoming school year. From Saturday, July 12th to Saturday, July 19th, our community resource center located at 168 N Johnston St, Suite 301 near Downtown Dallas, will be a hub of support and excitement, open to all families in need of school supplies, clothing, shoes, and hygiene products—completely free of charge!

We believe that education is the cornerstone of a bright future, and through this event, we aim to eliminate barriers so that every child can thrive. By providing access to free resources and support, we hope to foster a sense of community resilience and empowerment as we prepare for a new academic year. Our center will be open on Saturdays, Tuesday and Thursday from 10AM-4PM, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3PM-8PM, giving everyone ample time to gather supplies that will help their children start the school year with confidence and preparedness.  

In addition to essential supplies, we are thrilled to partner with local organizations that will be present throughout the week offering a variety of invaluable services to enrich the experience for families. Attendees can take advantage of complimentary nail tech services for a little back-to-school pampering, professional hair stylists ready to give kids a fresh look and health screenings to ensure every child is in tip-top shape for the school year. We aim to create a holistic experience that nurtures not just the mind but also the body and spirit, ensuring every child feels confident and prepared to start school.

We are excited to see our community come together and support our children’s education.” 

We invite families to sign up to attend and take part in this incredible opportunity! Additionally, organizations that wish to participate in this week of giving can sign up to join us until Wednesday, June 25th. Together, we can amplify our impact on the community and ensure that every child has an opportunity to succeed.

Our Community Resource Center stocked with donated clothes, shoes, and accessories for all ages.

To maximize our impact, we encourage community members to donate items that will benefit children of all ages and genders. We are specifically requesting: 

- School supplies (notebooks, pencils, pens, markers, etc.) 

- Backpacks 

- Kids’ clothes, shoes, and accessories 

- Hygiene products 

- Feminine products 

- New socks, underwear, and bras
